The Fiji Islands (sometimes mis-spelt as Figi or Feejee Islands) consists of some 300 islands, many of which are uninhabited. There are 3 main islands: Viti Levu, "The Main Island" where Nadi (said Nan-dee) International airport is located, Vanua Levu, the home of Savusavu which is known as "The Hidden Paradise", one of the best scuba diving destinations, and Taveuni, "The Garden Island". From the USA there are direct flights from LAX to Nadi (approximately 10 hours), arriving early in the morning. From the East Coast of Australia  and from New Zealand the flight time to Nadi is a little more than 3 hours, however, some flights may arrive too late in the afternoon for a domestic connection to Savusavu, therefore requiring a stay in Nadi overnight. Feel free to ask us for recommendations for accommodation in Nadi to fit any budget.

After a short (55 minute) flight with  either Pacifc Sun, a subsidiary of Air Pacific, the national carrier of Fiji, or Island Hoppers , or if you'd like to set your own schedule you could use a sea plane through Pacific Island Air & Seaplanes or a helicopter through Island Hoppers , you will land at Savusavu airport for transfer to your accommodation.

Once you arrive in Savusavu a snorkeller's or diver's dream awaits you, whether you are doing a PADI diving course, are already certified or merely snorkelling the water's surface. Then when not diving either relax in the lush local environment of your Fiji holiday accommodation, soaking up the warmth and sun, or venture out and about to experience sight, sound and taste sensations. You can do as much or as little as you like.....Whatever activities in Fiji you choose to do, you'll enjoy the hospitality of some of the friendliest people in the world!
