Fiji consists of some 300 islands, many of which are uninhabited. There are 3 main islands: Viti Levu, "The Main Island" where Nadi International airport is located, Vanua Levu, the home of Savusavu which is known as "The Hidden Paradise", and Taveuni, "The Garden Island". Korosun Dive is located on Vanua Levu, just 11km's from Savusavu airport.
KoroSun Dive offers free/partial return xfers from your accomodation to the KoroSun Dive dive shop, depending on your collection area in relationship to Savusavu town. On arrival just give us a call to work out your transportation requirements.
From the USA there are direct flights from LAX to Nadi (approximately 10 hours), arriving early in the morning. After a short (55 minutes) flight with Pacifc Sun, a subsidiary of Air Pacific, the national carrier of Fiji, you will land at Savusavu airport for transfer to your accomodation.
From the East Coast of Australia and from New Zealand the flight time to Nadi is a little more than 3 hours, however, some flights may arrive too late in the afternoon for a domestic connection to Savusavu, therefore requiring a stay in Nadi overnight.
Alternately, budget travellers may wish to take the inter-island ferries between Lautoka (near Nadi) or Suva with Bligh Water Shipping or Consort Shipping.
Once you arrive in Savusavu a diver's dream awaits you, and when not diving either relax in the lush local environment, soaking up the warmth and sun, or venture out and about to experience sight, sound and taste sensations. Whatever you choose to do, you'll enjoy the hospitality of some of the friendliest people in the world!
