Colin Skipper: PADI MSDT & EFR Instructor (also SSI & NASDS Instructor Certified) & Boat Master & owner/operator of KoroSun Dive. Colin (aka Skipper Skipper) originally a Kangaroo, came to Fiji 6 years ago on holiday and ended up buying a business and later dive certifying then marrying his Marketing and Promotions Manager! Born and raised near the ocean in South Western Australia, Colin took up scuba diving more than 30 years ago, becoming a Scuba Diving Instructor in 1991 while also holding the position of Vice Principal of an Agriculture College in WA. In 2003, Colin took a “working holiday” in Fiji and was subsequently offered the opportunity to own and operate a dive business in Savusavu on Vanua Levu, the second largest island of the Fiji group. Despite having never been to this island, he took leave from his college, packed his life in cardboard boxes, and headed back to Fiji. Colin is now totally committed to a life of diving and living in Fiji. After averaging around 600 dives per year for the last seven years, Colin continues to enjoy his work, which involves meeting people, sharing his passion for diving and striving for the ultimate underwater photo. Favourite Saying: "Maqe, maqe maqe!"
Isaac Lilo: PADI Open Water & EFR Instructor with KoroSun Dive. Prior to getting under the water Isaac (aka Moray) spent much time in the water as a member of the Fiji National Youth Swim Team. He helped bring medals home to Fiji from NZ, Oz, Japan, New Caledonia and Spain. When not working underwater Isaac enjoys either watching or taking part in a game of rugby followed by a good party with his wife Alison. Isaac loves meeting people and sharing what he calls "the WOW factor" , which is when people come up from a dive and and all they can talk about is what they saw and how great it was. Favourite Saying: "We'll check the fish id book back at the dive shop."
Janine Anning: Marketing for KoroSun Dive and Very Personal Assistant to the boss, especially since marrying him July 4th 2011. As a Kiwi non-diver and ex-secondary school teacher on arrival in Fiji 2007, Janine (aka J-9) took the plunge and now spends more time under the water than she does behind a desk. She doesn't see what she does as working, she calls it "Playing in Paradise!" Favourite Saying: "No such things as problems, only solutions." |
